Who we are
OvalPOS is owned and operated by Western Media, a software company based at PS Global Building, Sakumono, Tema — Ghana. Western Media was founded in 2009 and focuses on practical systems for small and medium businesses across Africa.
How OvalPOS started
Oval Point of Sale was originally created for a local supermarket that needed a simple way to track sales. Based on that success, the product grew into a cloud POS used by fashion stores, pharmacies, restaurants, electronics shops, wholesalers and multi-outlet retailers.
What we build
We are dedicated to delivering a reliable point of sale: real-time sales, inventory, customers, staff controls, reports, GRA E-VAT, and integrations with tools you already use — WooCommerce, Shopify, QuickBooks, Sage 300, Manager.io, Paystack, Hubtel and more. It runs on iPad, Android, Windows and Mac.
